About
I am currently completing FDA Level 2 in Make-Up Artistry, with a developing focus on film, character transformation and special effects.
Makeup, for me, is a form of visual storytelling. I’m drawn to researching characters and building identity through texture, colour and detail — whether that involves subtle period design or more complex prosthetic work. I am particularly interested in realism and how makeup translates effectively on camera.
Alongside my film-focused training, I have a strong personal interest in Korean beauty culture, skincare and performance aesthetics, particularly influenced by K-pop. Last year, I travelled to South Korea out of personal interest in the country’s makeup and skincare industry. That visit deepened my appreciation for complexion work, product layering and precision-based application techniques.
This year, I have chosen to return and enrol in professional makeup classes whilst visiting, in order to develop a more structured understanding of Korean application methods and skin preparation techniques. Although this area sits separately from my character and prosthetic work, it strengthens my technical foundation in base work, finish and attention to detail — skills that support both editorial and film-based projects.
Alongside my academic training, I have actively sought independent theatre and production work to gain practical experience in live and filmed environments. Working on pantomime productions, immersive scare events and short film projects has strengthened my understanding of continuity, durability and collaborative workflow within a team.
I approach each project with professionalism, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to developing my craft. As I continue progressing through my degree, I am focused on refining technical precision while building further on-set experience within film and television.
I am currently seeking trainee and assisting opportunities across the UK.
